Properties: white powder, odorless, tasteless and non - abrasive. If it turns yellow after being heated, it will return to white after being cooled. The specific gravity is 5.606, the melting point is 1975 ℃, the covering force is smaller than lead white, which is 1/2 of TLO2 and zinc sulfide, and the coloring force is 2 times of lead white. Different from lead white, hydrogen sulfide is not black in the presence of acid, alkali, ammonia chloride and ammonia water, insoluble in water and alcohol, when absorbing CO2 from the air, the properties change.
Uses: it is mainly used as a reinforcing agent for rubber products, as a sulfur-adding promoter for rubber, as a reinforcing agent for paint film, as a raw material for hard glass, optical glass, catalyst and medical rubber ointment, and is widely used in petroleum refining, pigment and battery industries.
